Physical Appearance: Zura used to always tease Keven about his hair saying that it looked as if some poor little dog had been killed and placed on top of his head. His shaggy blonde hair always seemed to escape a good haircut and when hanging in his eyes, it draped around his neck and near completely swallowed his ears. Beneath all that hair are some real nice blue eyes, that is if you can see them. He has one of those friendly smiles that says he just wants to be friends and although not a perfect completion, he isn't all that bad to look at.

Keven has always good care of his body. He knows how to eat right and exercise and is therefore in good if not great shape. He is by far no athlete but if a childish wrestling match should unfold, he could easily carry his stepsister around like some sort of squirming animal.

As far as Zura knows, Keven has always been a casual dresser. A nice pair of comfortable jeans and a t-shirt are about all he owns. Other then at the wedding of their parents, Zura can't remember a time when he has worn anything nicer. He is a very laid back kind of guy and he lets it show in his lack of fashion, if not in his personality.

Personality: Though he may be two years younger then Zuraeah, Keven has always tried to act like a big brother towards her. He has tried to look out for her in times of need and take care of her in any way that he can. As a teen this meant that he was the one trying to drag her away from the late night parties and beating up the older boys who tried to get a little too friendly with his sister. While attending school, he sent her some money when and if she needed it for whatever reason as long as he could afford it. Now that she is older though, he finds that his little sister doesn't need him quite as much as she once did; she has a job now that provides her with the gunmetal needed to support her chosen lifestyle and he is left with things such as moving furniture as a way of helping.

Just because he likes to help doesn't mean that Keven is a complete pushover though. He loves his family and his friends and is just one of those somewhat annoying persons with a sense of loyalty that doesn't know when to quit. He does what he thinks is right and is hard to persuade to do or act differently. When he has his mind set, it's set and there's not much anyone else can do about it.

Character History: When Zura was in her teens, probably about 14, her father decided to take a second wife for himself and with her came her two boys. Keven is the older of those boys. Unlike Zura who was used to being an only child, Keven had grown up with a sibling and was glad to have yet another.

Instead of being the awkward middle child, Keven sort of took over the big brother role and tried to stick his nose in his sister's life whenever he thought it was necessary. Like their parents, he didn't like seeing his stepsister throw her life away with all the drinking and partying that she did. He was there to drag her home when she was too drunk to find a coach-motor at the end of the night. He dished out more then a fair share of punches to older boys who thought they could get in the pants of his underage sister.

Even though she tried to ignore and avoid him, he was there when she dropped out of school and when she left home. When her father and stepmother turned their backs on her, he was the one bring her warm meals while she was trying to live off the streets. The whole time he tried to convince her to turn her life around and tried to tell her that she could do so much better, if only she tried.

If asked, he credits himself for her eventual turn around. Though he wasn't the one to get her enrolled in Webbers, (personally he would have picked almost any other academy first) Keven believes that it was at his persuasion that she decided to make something of herself.

As he saw his sister set herself on the track for self betterment, Keven sought to make something of himself too. Unfortunately he didn't quite find a calling like Zura did and he was left floating between various odd jobs.

Keven has tried his hand as a carpenter, a painter, a gardener, a landscaper and even a part-time pet groomer. Somewhere along the lines he picked up a bit of skill working with cybernetics and prides himself the routine maintenance work he does to keep Emory up and running.

Currently Keven is between jobs and doing what he can for work when not crashing at his sister's place.
